FS5A-01

An extendable arm for the grip of the Sony FS5. Improves handling a lot when rigging the camera.

With the FS5A-01 extension arm, Lanparte introduced a very handy helper for anybody who wants to rig his FS5. Attaching the grip directly to the camera being the only stock option, this extension arm offers a connection port where the FS5 grip can be installed. This port features the same functions as the port that is available on the body of the FS5.

The arm itself is made from anodized aluminium and can be extended seamlessly according to your need. It can not be mounted on the camera directly and thus requires a rig with 15mm rod support. The connection features ARRI style rosettes, so the ARL-series connectors by Lanparte should be used additionally. You should take a look at the ARL-01T-D2.

Inside the extension arm is a spiral cord that transfers the user input from the grip directly to the camera. The cable is inside the arm making the use of the extension very simple and convenient.
